you should email the backend maintainer directly, and tell him, since he=20 may want to add support to the normal backend. allan On Thu, 25 Mar 2004, Garrick Sitongia wrote: > O.K. I eventually discovered I can put a document in the ADF and there is= no=20 > more error message and it will then

O.K. I eventually discovered I can put a document in the ADF and there is no more error message and it will then scan from the flatbed. Not too difficult for a workaround. I had tried changing the 'AV_FUJITSU' to '0' as described below and there was no change of results. I do not know what this

ahh, now that i look at the avision backend, i see that it only mentions=20 scanpartner units up thru the 600, but not the 620. you could try adding a new block for the 620c down near line 900 of=20 avision.c and recompile. just copy the 600 block. if that does not work, you might try setting the

I modified my /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.conf file. The avision.conf already has the line 'scsi FCPA' The 'scanimage -L' No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, [...] BTW the features I need are both the Flatbed and ADF functionality, and the resolutions 150, 240

When I run scanimage, sane chooses the backend to use based on autodetection result. How do I direct it to using the avision backend? Garrick >Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2004 11:17:06 -0500 (EST) > > >another option might be to try the avision backend instead. it does not >support all of the fetures of t
