In regards to the issue with dpi. That was too early in my debugging phase... I mis-read the dpi_x value and was thinking it should be 300 dpi for that entry.. turns out it a correct value. There was another change from my earlier posts that was needed to get it the driver working. I will tes

nice work. if no-one replies to your email, gmail leaves it in sent mail, even when it comes back to you from the list. one of my big pet peeves with gmail. you have to go into sent-mail to reply. to make the patch, you need an original, unchanged copy of the files you changed in one dir, say 'or
