Hi,
It would be nice if I could figure out how to respond to my own email
thread.
Anyway I have successfully modified the hp5590 backend driver to support the
HP scanjet 4570c.
I will need to figure out how to make a patch file and who to submit it
to. but I scanned my first full color image using the newly modified driver
and xscanimage!
