Hi! I've just installed SANE-1.0.7 on my Slackware 8-based Linux system with these mods: * 2.4.18 kernel * glibc-2.2.5 * gcc-3.0.4 * binutils-2.12 I DO have USB support compiled into my kernel and the USB ports and scanner driver ARE being loaded (/var/log/messages output): Mar 25 08:50:39 c714
