I use openSUSE 10.2, Kernel 2.6. I have a FB630U-Scanner (Canon). As a
root user, "sane-find-scanner" says:

Bertrik Sikken has made available his modified USB Snoopy binary that
doesn't log bulk transfer data (and thus doesn't miss packets.)

Perhaps a generic LM9830 driver could be made. The hp4200, Canon
fb630u (and probably fb330u), and hp3300c (I assume?) are all
based on the LM9830. The parallel-to-USB
Oh, thank god somebody found a program to sniff this thing. USB Snoopy
doesn't produce useful output. I was looking at using the Mac OS 9
drivers under classic mode in Mac OS X, and hacking the Darwin kernel to
give useful output (read: hard work). I'll go read your stuff now. :-)
