I have a Genius HR7X scanner that I'd love to use in Linux, but I have no
experience on programing in Linux, so I can't help (i hope this will change in
near future ;-) .
Would you consider this one?

I have a Genius ColorPage HR7X and I would like to know if it will have a
proper backend and how long is it planed to be released.
I saw that some other Genius scanners are supported through the "plustek"
backend, unfortunately I didn't saw this list before buying the scanner :-(
