Hi I still cannot write my own back-end, but looking for resources about this scanner, I found this PDF manual:
http://www.geniusnet.com.tw/product/manual/HR7LE-HR7X.pdf The only difference between HR7LE (which is already supported) seems to be the transparency or negative film adapter, as is suggested on page 19 of the refered PDF manual So, if HR7LE is supported, how can I make sane detect my HR7X as a HR7LE?
