Hi,
I would like to ask what is the status of the Canon Lide 35 backend? I
have noticed that the genesys backend was moved into the main CVS.
However, I have not been able to update the CVS since then. I am
getting:
cvs [update aborted]: unrecognized auth response from
cvs.alioth.debian.org: cvs:

The test works great! :) I was able to scan an image in Linux for the
very first time on my Lide 35 scanner. Any plans to include the code
into the genesys backend?

Hi,
I have a problem running scanimage. When I try it:
scanimage -d genesys
I get:
scanimage: open of device libgenesys failed: Invalid argument
I have fresh CVS installation with make clean and removal of all
previously installed files. The libgenesys is present where it should
be, that is in
Hi,
I have updated my sources from the CVS and installed the genesys-new
backend. The result is as follows:
$sane-find-scanner
...
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x2213 [CanoScan],
chip=GL841) at libusb:004:019
...
$ scanimage -d genesys
...
[genesys] genesys_low_bulk_write_da
Hm, then I am confused now. Is it supposed to work or not?
On my machine it looks like it is detected and several USB commands are sent. It
freezes on some "bulk data send" and it looks like kernel attemt timeout (see
also my first email with non-debug logs). I am at work now, so I can post
Hi,
Thank you for your replies. I will wait for your commits to the CVS
repository and I will gladly do the testing and possible bug reporting.
Please let me know when I should try updated sources.

Stefan
