Hello Nordine Tbahriti.
Following is a short list of others who have the same or similiar
scanners to the HP4470c, and the same problems.

I got this from HP after querying them about the HP4470c...
So can someone in the US contact US technical support. I doubt New Zealand
support will be much help. If no-one can do that, I can try from NZ.
TIA. :-)

Hello Rob,
Thank you for contacting HP's Customer Care e-mail sup
chipset.
Thanks very much.

Well I guess we could all have a try at getting some info from HP?
Maybe it would then be easy to develop the drivers?

week for some developer
documentation, or (even
better) source code. They havent gotten back to me.
Unfortunately.
It scans really well in windows. I have the
slide/film adapter too, which is
pretty nifty.

Hi Sandy. I too have an H
. Maybe someone could supply a contact address at HP so we could
at least find out a bit about the scanner. Otherwise I guess it's a case
of pulling it apart and looking for the chipset.

Hi. Is there any news / development work being done on the HP 4470c
scanner. Does anyone know anything about it? It has USB AND parallel
ports, and a negative adapter for scanning photo-negatives. Does it
share an 'engine' with another scanner? Is it genuine HP?
TIA.

Hi. I have a HP 4470c scanjet that has both USB and parallel ports, and
slide adapter. Can anyone tell me anything about (USB) drivers, or will
I have to write my own? If the latter, can I be pointed to somewhere for
beginners.
Thanks
