Hi Sandy. I too have an HP4470c scanner, but there has unfortunately been deathly silence on this sane list whenever I have asked about it. This is a shame as it is a great (and expensive) scanner, having both parallel and USB ports, and an adapter for scanning photo negatives and slides. Maybe someone could supply a contact address at HP so we could at least find out a bit about the scanner. Otherwise I guess it's a case of pulling it apart and looking for the chipset.
