It's been added to sane cvs. Support for this scanner has been
marked as "good" (somewhere in between "basic" and "comple
e cvs version of sane-backends already creates a
libsane rule for this scanner. I updated the brother2 descriptions
to mark support for this scanner as good.

I just tried sane-backends CVS and found that it did not work
for my hp3300 (niash backend). Scanimage -L complains about
missing 'sanei_scsi_find_devices'. I think this is somehow
pulled in from another sanei function.

Good news, the transfer method is indeed similar to existing ones.
This means that it's quite easy
o wait for warm-up before scan
Those last two issues frequently cause colored vertical lines
on the first scan.

I tried the script, but got some strange results.
Some translated sentences seemed to be cropped.
I'm now looking at the translations using a visual diff tool,
which works acceptably.
