i combined every modes, color, grayscale and bw, all in 75ppp resolution
with 2 different size
*full plate a4+a little margin
*semi sized a5 manually resized in paintbrush scan

The specific problem is that the driver reports an incorrect subset of

I am running an up-to-date version of Ubuntu Mate 16.04 (sane package
version 1.0.14-11). This scanner has worked fine in the past, but only
because I edited some sort of resolution file. I recently blew away my
install and did a complete switch of distros, so I think I lost that
edit.
