Hi, I just set up my new scanner, which was very straightforward on stock SuSE 9.2 (sane package sane-1.0.14-5). The only very minor glitch was that the firmware file I copied from the CD is called A2NFw.usb, but sane searches for A2Nfw.usb and a2nfw.usb, which have different capitalisation. Perh

Hi people I recently switched to kernel 2.6.11 (from 2.4.28 - what a jump!) and my scanner (Snapscan - AGFA) refused to work. To ease the work, the main problem was that snapscan.conf required the vendor/model id code in it: sane-find-devices did report the scanner, scanimage -L didn't. A little s
