new to sane so bear with me.
I installed version 1.0.12 via Fink. I'm using xsane 0.89 as my front
end, but have also tried just using scanimage

the Maxi Scan A4 SCSI is supported by the SnapScan backend.=2
maybe that is the problem, i have not loaded the SCSI driver for the SCSI
card. I don't know how. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.
