Hi,
I suppose this one belongs to the same family as the Scanmaker 3600. There is
a project for these scanners at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sm3600. As I
have no further information about the status of this project you should have
a look there.
wish you success!

If it had been asked, you would maybe find the answer in the mailing
list archive. But I
Most of the front ends i have seen so far (XSane, XScanimage, Iscan...)
Either only have 8 or 16 bit as an option for color depth or have no
selection at all. I wonder is there anything i need to do in order to
scan above 16 bit?
btw: scanner="epson 1650 photo"

So i think i figured out that the reason for this error is because
i did not have usbdev filesystem turned on in my kernel. It seems to be
working so far.

Hi,
I've added an automatic image detection function to QuiteInsanes preview
window, which works very well with my scanners.
Unfortunately I have no idea, whether this approach works for other scanners
too.
If someone out there uses a CVS version of QuiteInsane, could you please test
this and

I am using Mandrake 8.2,

Trust Imagery 1200SP and Imagery 4800SP, not for Imagery 2400SP!
How doing? Compatibility Hardware is exist ?
My name is Kip Iles (http://kiplandiles.com) and I am just getting into
working with SANE on the Solaris 8 platform (currently, on a Ultra 10 but
finally on a Blade server). I am trying to get an Epson Perfection 1650 USB,
connected to a USB port on a SunRay to work and have not had any success.

I think the HP photo smart scanner is within our price range, but
I cannot recommend it: It grips negative strips or slides with
rubber transport rollers, so you can be sure that you will have
transport problems once the rubber surface show some wear. Furthermore,
you cannot handle slides in glass
