Here comes the log-file:

Hi,
I just committed a change to the po directory: All translations for options
contained in include/sane/saneopts.h are now in one single file per language
(e.g. saneopts.de.po). The backend po files are much smaller now.
Documentation is in po/README.
Currently only translations for Geramn lang

You are right.

O
Please could someone with a UMAX Astra 2200
test the current sane-cvs version and
add the following line to the beginning
of /usr/local/etc/sane.d/umax.conf
option gamma-lsb-padded 1
explaination:
values:
-1 = automatically set by driver - if known
0 = gamma data is msb padded
I took a chance and installed the CIS version and it worked fine.
What I don't understand is why the CIS version hasn't been officially brought
into
the sane fold...i.e. why do I need to download it separately?
