Please could someone with a UMAX Astra 2200
test the current sane-cvs version and
add the following line to the beginning
of /usr/local/etc/sane.d/umax.conf
option gamma-lsb-padded 1
explaination:
values:
-1 = automatically set by driver - if known
0 = gamma data is msb padded
1 = gamma data is lsb padded
default = -1
Then please start xsane and enable "custom gamma table"
and select a bit depth of 12 or 14 and do a color scan
(no preview).
Please tell me if the image looks correct.
I want to include this into sane-1.0.7 and so I need
the information until 26th januaray.
