realised that I needed to upgrade to sane-1.0.6 to be able to include support

wants to include his new backend into SANE 1.0.7, it's NOW the time to
tell us. So we can use the last few days for looking at the backend.

I'm running sane 1.0.6 I have two scanners hooked up for testing.
HP 5p I think it might be a hardware issue. The light comes on for a
second then goes out. the carriage starts moving as to scan but only moves
1/2 inch then trys to retreat as if done and goes to clicking as to drive
