I can't seem to get mine working using sane version 1.0.6.
sane-find-scanner sees it, but scanimage and xsane don't see it. Anyone
have any suggestions on how to configure this and/or what modules should
be used with it?

I would like to incorporate the new UMAX 1220U backend for the 1.0.7
release of SANE. How do I go about doing this? Do I need to get CVS
access myself, or should I have someone else check the changes in for

interface and all i can get is io error msg.
using latest sane package and 2.4-16 kernel under mandrake kde2
I have read saned man and set as described
syntax i'm using "xsane net:localhost:mustek_pp"
what am I doing wrong?
