Please supply details about your system (and note that we do not
really can offer support for Sagemath 7.* versions). Did you set any
SAGE-specific environment variables before starting the build?
(It looks as if you set SAGE_ROOT to some value, like "/", something
that you should not do)

Dear group,
I've tried to install Sage on Windows 7 following the installation guide linked
below. It seems to work until step 4, I get the same console window as shown in
the screen shot there ("Open your web browser"). But if I do so, I can't
connect to Sage and receive a 404 error instead.
Hello All,
Could any one please describe how to install Sage on Ubuntu 10.04 OS.
I am trying the command "./sage" by entering the sage directory, but I am
still
facing problems with installation.
Thank you.

I'm a sage newbie. I have installed virtualbox and followed the
installation instructions regarding importing the appliance into Virtualbox.
Virtualbox does not import sage however. My experiences have been the same
as Matthew Chan. I am running Vista.

Hi,
I have a G4 iMac and a G5 PowerPC, both running with OSX10.4.11
I have download sage-4.2-OSX10.4-32bits-G4-PowerMacintosh-Darwin.dmg
file and installed it onto the G4 without any problem. All is Ok.
Now, following the same procedure, I try to install Sage onto the G5
(1.8 GHZ PowerPC G5).
Hi,
I downloaded Sage for Mac OS X 10.5 and extracted it. However, when I
try to run it I get the output appended below. Running %upgrade does
not fix this. Any advice on how to get it running?
Cheers,
Oliver
