Hi,

I have a G4 iMac and a G5 PowerPC, both running with OSX10.4.11

I have download sage-4.2-OSX10.4-32bits-G4-PowerMacintosh-Darwin.dmg
file and installed it onto the G4 without any problem. All is Ok.

Now, following the same procedure, I try to install Sage onto the G5
(1.8 GHZ PowerPC G5).
1. I download the
sage-4.2-OSX10.4-PowerPC-G5-PowerMacintosh-Darwin.dmg file. I opened
it to mount it.
2. I obtained the disk image and I dragged the 'sage' folder on the
desktop (1,47Go to be moved).
3. This process stopped around 740Mo with the following message:
"it is impossible to copy 'singular' in its destination place: its
name is similar to the name of an element of the destination, except
the case-letters of some characters."

Questions:
- how to explain this situation?
- how to find the destinations of 'singular'?
Best, luiyi
