Hi: Sorry to say that this also didn't work. I had already downloaded 2.7.2 and upgrading it didn't work, so I reinstalled 2.7 (form zip file on hard disk) and did an upgrade from that which took some time, but the same problem was repeated. So, I will have to reinstall 2.7 from .zip file again t

Hi, I just realized I could probably fix your problem (and many other people's similar problem) by releasing a slightly newer version of SAGE. So I'm releasing sage-2.7.2.1 which should fix the notebook problem on vmware transparently. Just do "sage -upgrade" once sage-2.7.2.1 appears here (pro
