My experience is that without developing an integration tool, the best way
to utilize sage, jupyter notebooks and things like that in Canvas is to use
them separately (link to them as suggested by @kcrisman) and just use
Canvas to record grades.
Another alternative is to have them turn in the n

integrals, I mostly provide it as another tool and show examples of how to
use it in problem set answer keys. I would really like to embed it more
fully in my course as I use it very heavily myself.

Nice!. Although the Riemann sum interact is presently kaput. There's a

Andrey,
Not a problem. It's a good suggestion. Now if I can only figure out why
my updated 5.0 server won't run in secure mode with the new notebook...

Thanks. Having not used Sage as a front end for either Maple or
Mathematica, I didn't realize how little the front end does at this
point.
I don't think I have enough to translate to warrant working on a
parser, myself.

I have manually done some conversions, but was wondering if this could
be done using an algorithm since Sage has the ability to front-end
Mathematica?
Anybody have ideas or experience?
Thanks,

You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups

certainly imagine having them use a Sage server for something and
asking them to name the worksheet so that I can find it. If you are
not the manager, they would have to share it with you.

So if you have other ideas, words of encouragement or discouragement please let
me know. Please reply to this discussion except in the case of volunteering to
make yourself available as a resource next summer.

In theory you could also use Jmol.js and the scriptWait() call to do
the set defaultdirectory from javascript as well.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
