I just found out that I have xmaxima in my $SAGE_LOCAL/bin folder.
I am pretty sure no one ordered that. It seems that it will build by

and to disable it we pass --with-wish=none and do surgery on the
makefile.

I had fink installed years ago, but it's not in my path any longer.

deleting anything that you can suggest.
Thanks.--R
All tests passed on my intel mac running os x 10.4.11.

There's a new version of eclib at

As well as the one-line fix needed for trac#3119 (and a related
one-liner) there are some other very minor fixes as revealed by using
gcc-4.2.3 .
I have installed this into a build of 3.0.3 and ru

I have seen that happen when we install the g95 Fortran spkg, but I

Hello,
Sage currently does not have an interface to Scilab. If you'd be
willing to test it out / let me know what you need it to do, I'd be
willing to write one.

Hi all,
Is it possible to use Scilab in the SageMath environment?
I searched in the docs but I didn't found any reference about it.
Cheers
Filippo.

Hello folks,
here goes Sage 3.0.4.alpha0. This is supposed to be a quick release,
so let's try to keep this simple. We do have quite a number of
blockers that are open, so let's watch out for rc0 soon. As usual
please report build issues and doctest failures. Note that the GMP

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the update, I will keep an eye on the next release. I
started to use (and enjoy working with) the binary SAGE package ;)
Cheers
