I'm trying to rsync around 500,000 to 6 web servers with little success. It
take around 3 hours to generate the files, and it appears it will take
three hours to build the file list (I'm still waiting).

i want to use rsync 2.4.6 and openssh 2.2.0p1 with Cygwin.
When i try to transfer files from Window to Linux
it stops after a few kilobytes.
netstat on Linux gives this
Active Internet connections (w/o servers)
