The important bit seems to be:
/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/include/Rconfig.h:5:25:
error: ppc/Rconfig.h: No such file or directory
You may want to check what is the R on your system picked up by the rpy2
install process and how it was installed / where it is coming from.
