I'm a happy user of ggplot2, pandas, and the ipython notebook myself. I
noticed some strange behaviour of the axes, labels, and legend, though,
and made a notebook that shows the problems. It looks like some parts of
the plot are on top of older plots.

Rpy2-2.3.5 is out. This is a bugfix release in the 2.3.x series, with a
number of the niceties in the development branch implemented
during/following the (awesome) PyCon conference after meeting with the
iPython and pandas folks backported whenever possible.
