Dear developers
Reading the mailinglist, I see that there are strong feelings for the
long time slider, and I completely understand why.
Personally I never use it, so it just takes up GUI space in my case.
So I was thinking, what if the time slider is a "beacon" (that is what
it is called right?
I just upgraded my machine to Ubuntu Hardy/Rhythmbox 0.11.5 and have noticed
a persistent playback problem since then.
What I'll see is that sometime while playing, a song will end and the UI
displays "4:06 of 4:06", but sometimes the tooltip shows "4:06 of

mp3 mode, shows type of compression made to the file. For example, Stereo
Mode is really different from Join Stereo. So it really helps if that
information could shows up.

I just did a patch to make rhythmbox grab lyrics from darklyrics.com
it has a lot of metal related lyrics so it could be useful to someone
here.

Just to note that it doesn't change de configuration of the Lyrics
plugins. It just adds the engine
