I don't know if anyone has ever tried Webmin but I can say it is much
more user friendly and less intrusive than Linuxconf. I think Redhat
should seriously look at replacing Linuxconf with Webmin. I guess the
most serious limitation to Webmin is that it runs over a browser, which
can be a problem

because it integrated worse with GNOME than the version we had. Also

Hi!
Please help me with following:
I work on a RH Linux 6.2 system and I need to configure it as follows:
www.something.som
ftp.something.som
mail.something.som
But. the big problem is:
I don't have an internet eth connexion bu a dial-up one.
I think I know how to manage ppp-up and down and chat
Thanks for the link. I think I have found the answer. I installed 6.1
from CD, and this time I am trying to install from our network here at work,
thus having to configure the network first. The 3c509 apparently has trouble
with resource conflicts on the install, at least in v6.1. I still don'

but not in the output of 'w' (and, perhaps by extension, why they show up
in the output of the stock RedHat 6.2 finger program but not the ICSI
distributed finger program that my whole site is running).
I understand that K
I was trying to install 6.2 with the bootnet.img. I get to the point
where it asks me what NIC I have, and 3c509 is not in the list. Prior
versions had this driver, where did it go. When I choose any of the other
3com cards (3c501, 3c590), I get resource conflict, device busy. Has anybody

Hello, I would like to write a C/Motif grogram that
pops up with texts inside
the GUI, and It will self destructive after 10

the popup GUI, but I do not know how to make it
disappear in 10 or 20
minutes.
Thanks in advance,
John
