I'm getting lots of these with depmod -a.
I have built a lot of uni-processor kernels and modules and have
never had this problem.
When I build them with SMP on in a SMP machine, I keep getting
these unresolved symbols.
Kernel is 2.2.15 w/RedHat 6.2beta
Any suggestions?

is there anybody who use socks with kerberos authentication ?
sincs I was unable to compile socks with kerberos (actualy I can compile
but it's not working). so if somebody have any success with it could you
told me the version of the socks and the kerberos (the best would be two

Recently noticied that on my 486/100 box (not very slow --
it was very fast some years ago, but not for now) some startup
scripts are not executed (executed, but services not started).
After some investigations I found this:
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/named start

Why are they commented out by default? I'm sure there is a good reason, but
being uninformed, I almost see it as another "640K ought to be enough for
anybody" type setup. I'd like to think that the kernel developers thought
ahead enough to know large files would be needed, but found some stumbli
