I got alsa.0.3.0-pre4 tars for drivers,libraries, and utilities. I did
the configure, the make all, and make install on everything. No
errors. I got the older tars because I am using RedHat 5.2, kernel
2.0.36. I went and did a make menuconfig and opted out the soundcard
support like the d
i was just using a the standard ftp client on 5.2 and 6.0. ill try to
upgrade the 5.2 client and see if that helps.
