PTP,
What is TSP ( ) wash and rinse? Sounds like YAYOQ (you answered
your own questions). We have a CC (common circumstance).
I'm hoping TSP is some sort of not-totally-toxic chemical bath that will eat
away the anodization quickly and efficiently, and simply wash off into ??.

Bill,
I think Doug P. actually sent this to us. Hope attachments work on this

We won't find a lot of experience yet but here's what Lumeta said recently
(Sept. 18th).
Our Lumeta PowerPly roof-integrated PV module is for low-slope applications
for both new commercial construction and existing buildings. Our "Peel and

Thanks again, Bill,
I'll investigate PVSYST also, as I can't get PV Watts either version to work
for me online beyond 4.0kW(?) and no data points for new zip code anyway,
and in old zip code, NREL's map servers seem to not like me in any browser.

In 2008, we have had to replace our standard Sq. D HU361RB used since our

sort of code change NEC or CBC maybe that made most jurisdictions in So Cal
suddenly start requiring fused DC disconnects? Typically, we fill the fus
Hi Kirk,
Love it. Sounds clean. I think I understood your route. Question, was
this a ground mount array or at significant tilt, and would these nifty
2-conductor clamps and SS screw attachment be just as easy to attach and
work with for flush roof mounted array wire management along rails? I w

Agree with purposes 1), 2). You'll have to continue patiently educating

Jeff,
NABCEP has figured this out, in my opinion. I'm somewhat biased because I'm

we'll see. But I say they have figured it out, because we're doing exa
Jeff,
I agree with your points certainly. As Rebecca Eaton had also pointed out
however, it's really just a matter of time. Or timing. And patience on the
part of all of us, early adopters that have gone the extra mile, and eager
newcomers alike.

Both area and cost per kw are going to depend on the PV technology platform

I thought this was just a general question, not a cost/price discussion.

Jeff, excellent questions. Also, how many clips per say, 100 or 1000 ft of
clipped-on ground wire are recommended? Is the distance in between clips
per code or certification of the clip in any way? Does anyone have a cost
per linear foot comparison between lug+bare+labor and sliced bread?
