Hello Wrenches,
Is anyone aware of a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery system that can operate
in a -48V telecom system (positive of battery grounded)? I'm just starting
to look around but would appreciate help.

What are your preferred brands for small pole mount installs? I'm talking
really small (one or two modules, probably sub 1kw) that a client wishes to
install for a DC-direct pump to fill a stock tank. My experience with
ground mounts is mostly larger installs from MT Solar and All Eart

The brushes are a variable wear item but when they go the unit is down, I
have seen brushes worn down to the ribbon in under 2000 hrs and some go
twice that and are still OK, As they wear rotor scuff can be an issue plus
as they wear the tension gets weaker and its more prone to build up on
I have a Generac EcoGen 6kW LP gas genset in my neighborhood that I’m
maintaining. It’s been in service for over 12 years and it has 3,200 hours on
it.
I see that I missed the recommended 2,500 hour service for changing the
alternator rotor brushes.
