I confirmed it - the Sol-Ark will start charging when PV is available even
after the Shutoff voltage is reached. It will start inverting again when
the Restart setpoint is reached.

This is exactly the approach I've used in the off grid aio install I just
completed, specifically for reliability in the event of a system failure
with no one present. It works perfectly. Since there is no Bullitt in

I’ve got a FM 100 that is maybe 2 yrs old, and the cooling fan control isn’t
working.
The fan is fine.
No errors in the menu.
FET temp was 75, too hot to touch the heat sink.
Has anyone else had this issue?
My fix is to use the AUX relay to power the fan if OB won’t fit it.

Thanks for the follow-up. Two thoughts:
1. I agree that a PV problem should not cause a system shutdown. I seem
to recall Sol-Arc said they can’t do anything to correct the issue due to
listing/testing issues. This alone would prevent me from choosing
