With the Sol-Ark (or other DC coupled inverter/charge controller
combinations such as the Envy), will the system pass through solar power if
the inverter has turned off on LBCO? If not, then these alternative methods
for powering the RSD signal generators won't make a difference, correct?

The 48v to 12v DC converter approach should be immune from the inverters LBCO
since it lives on the battery side of the inverter/bus. I’ve done a few systems
using Tigo’s without issue. The main concern is you now have a DC load attached
to the battery output lacking DC load protection that coul
Does anyone have a working phone number for AP systems?

Gentlefolk,
I have a 35 watt radio transmitter that I need to station in the desert for a
critical application.
Any recommendations for a turnkey provider of a combined solar/wind/battery
system?
Should I build it myself?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I'm looking to move along some damaged Outback (GVFX and VFX) boards.
I found an older thread referencing Kris Stone, but didn't have luck with
the email.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Friends:
This is a subject that has frustrated me for a long time. I have asked
Outback Tech support but none of their people do this because they are not
customers.
I will connect anew system to Optics and send the client an invitation.
The customer creates and account and then is directed

Gentlefolk,
Greetings William,
I think the trick is to have the customer wait until they get the invite and
not have them create an account ahead of time. However on your end, it does say
something about the client being able to add the system if they already have an
account. I too have come across this ex
Zonna is a dependable resource. I often find they have more repair boards and
parts in their inventory than Outback does themselves. Whether the older legacy
boards or newer VFXR series, Zonna has them. I think of them as the off grid
distributor solution provider that AEE used to be known for.
As far as wind is concerned, I recommend SuperWind, made in Germany. It is
well built and designed to handle high winds. It is rated at 1000 watts
and I have seen data showing over 1kwhr for an hour increment. Typically
it is outputting 100 to 300 watts. My customer found it on line and asked

Sorry Howie, I now see you were specifically asking about inverter/charge
controller combo solutions. I should have caught that detail. Still seems as an
easy workaround though if for some reason the inverter manufacturer failed to
isolate the 12v output independent of the AC output LBCO. Perhap
Who carries the Superwind turbines? We've been looking for a

Regarding AEE and off grid support, I'm not really in touch with them much
any more so I can't say. You could ask Glenn Hall, he'd be able to say if
he's heard anything about hiring a new tech. Of course finding someone
with much off grid experience would be hard. Glenn and Alex do have some
