Hi Lee, The MC version is similar to the standard SW, but does not have grid usage menu (no sell/lbx), and does not give AC1 priority (assuming both inputs are present). It will support the generator with battery power whenever the load exceeds the AC2 Amps setting in Menu 11. Eric _
