Hi Michael, That really helps. With the problems reported on the Unique Range, I'm leaning heavily toward Peerless. Since the Peerless has 8 D cells for the ignitor at 1.5 VDC each, I am wondering if a 48V to 12V voltage reducer might be able to run the sparker and avoid the use of the batte

I have a client in Canada who has a Unique fridge/freezer and chest freezer at 2 lodge locations. They are high quality and easy to live with. All brands are expensive and use a lot of propane IMO, and Unique is right in the usual price range. Their fridges and freezers are not the same as Crystal
