Does anyone know if newer Macintosh computers are still
incompatible with Modsine inverters, and how about Mac loptops ?
I have been using Macs since the mid 1990s and much of the time
plugging them into 'mod-sine' inverters such as the old Trace U
series and DR, and various l

Macs have always worked on mod-sine, meaning the SW- and SW+-series
Trace/Xantrex, the only genuine mod-sine inverters I know of.
On mod-square wave, like DRs and Us, older Macs were incompatible
('90s and earlier) but more recent ones have generally worked O
No problems here with a Xantrex DR and MacBook charging from it. Can't
help you regarding Mac desktops, never tried them on mod sine.
