Thanks Ray, I am going to use the 2kva DLO cable. It is dual rated as RHW-2, which is what inverter OEM recommends. AWC warehouse is also close by in PA. also. On 8/1/2020 8:16:16 PM, Ray wrote: I would look at Diesel Locomotive Cable DLO, which is usually dual rated RHH/RHW-2 for us non locomot

I've used it a few times for battery and inverter cables and it works just fine.  It just has a thicker jacket so when you heat shrink it at the lugs, it looks funny.  Not a serious problem, just get a higher ratio heat shrink like 3 to 1, and it should be fine. Ray Walters Remote Solar 303 50

I would look at Diesel Locomotive Cable  DLO, which is usually dual rated RHH/RHW-2 for us non locomotive folks.  2000 v rated. Its pretty easy to work with, flexible, but has a 2nd inner liner that gives it the higher volt rating.  Its also usually tinned conductors too. https://www.awcwire.c

I need to spec battery cable for a nominal 850 vdc LFP bank. Several brands of power cable list their rating at a dual 600/1000v. it is my understanding that to be listed in this manner, the cable must pass a test apply of over 600v for a short period  without breakdown. But under normal operati
