Does anyone know anyone working on Schneider inverters? I got a customer who
had a ac relay go out on a 5548 XW+ its part of a 3phase unit so I kinda need
it. I used to use ASE Supply in OR but they said they really dont work any them
anymore mainly in part of Schneider not supplying parts anymo
Sounds like he has a 24V inverter. What does the serial number tag on the top
of the unit say about that verses the silkscreen part numbers on the relay
board and computer board(s) under the hood?

The Schneider RSD switch has a Tigo transmitter, which is no longer SunSpec
compliant. SunSpec devices do NOT work. I know for certain that the APsmart
devices do not work.
Fire Raptors are very robust and might be a good choice for off grid where

however, it also requires the RSD box from Schneider I don't have

Great idea Howie. This client is very hands off and the original installer
did nothing in the way of educating them to the do's and don'ts. I've only
been there once and when I was there the SCP basically had all of the
default values. Oddly, I'm actually looking forward to returning.

Had your client tried running the problematic appliances using generator
direct, that is avoiding the xw entirely. That will at least tell you if it
is something to do with the generator output or with the interaction of the
generator with the xw that is causing the problem.

checked? This problem is probably related to the master / slave config. If
this is XW+, there was firmware for that back in the day for fault 55 an
EPROM failure that messed up timing. It was very repeatable at a certain

Yes, we encountered something similar but not the same. It was a single
XW+5548. It would, very briefly, lose power occasionally, nothing at a
specific time, but consistently, a few times per week. I fixed it by
reinstalling the latest firmware. Its been fine for about a year now so
I have two Schneider XW 6848s in an off-grid system. I've had some issues I
think we've gotten figured out in relation to the configuration of the
inverters as master/slave.
Now it seems the inverters shut down for ten seconds or so in the evening
at 7:59. It doesn't seem to have done it last nigh

Wrenches i have service contracts with both product lines thst customer
has, the XW has had some programming issues, i use Radians and for years
the FX's. It seems that i have had more calls on XW machines even i have a
smaller customer base with that product. I like and perferr the Outback
