Midnite just changed their absorb voltage to 56.4V. For what its worth,
I treat the batteries from manufacturers exactly the way they say, I
don't want to do anything that may jeopardize the warranty. Also with
LFP batteries, its not just a pile of cells, no doubt each manufacturer

Can the mate3SL not use the mate3S firmware? Is there a reason to need a
version other than 001.004.007? Or am I misunderstanding your post?

Jay, great questions.
One of the few good things about the OutBack Skybox (I think it was that
one) was the lifting holes on the upper back corners so that a bar or pipe
could be run through making it much easier for a lift into place. Maybe for
the 300 lb batteries lifting eyes on all four top cor
Hi All
Im wondering about a few things as we are talking batteries.
1. how do people feel about the amphenol battery connector vs lugs? A lot of
batteries are going that way. Lots to like about them.
2. battery cable lengths. I see both things said, that they have to be the
same length or d
HI Nick
Thanks but I’m curious about 1 thing.
The charged voltage they list here is around 57v.
But the charge voltage specifics I just got from midnite say 56.4.
What’s up with that I don’t understand which is correct.

Greetings Wrenches,
Perhaps I'm one of the few stuck with a handful of the Mate3-SL units that
was counting on Outback's promise that they would be upgraded for free once
the chips became available but that promise was not carried on to the new
owners. I believe most all of the Flexpower Radian pa
Hi Jay
The settings for the MNS Batteries are on a sticker on each battery.
BMS- LVCO 44.8 HVCO 58V (The HVCO is not on the sticker)
LVCO (inverter) 46.0
Float 54V
Bulk 56.1V
The rest of the you can set to what you want, the battery does not care.
All Prismatic cells operate mostly the same, an
Hi Bill
I tried and failed to find any setting information on that battery besides
charge and float.
Kinda need to know things like LVD, recommended LBCO, etc.
But if it’s similar to other prismatic cells you should be able to set the OB
inverter to a LBCO that works without having to go throu
