I recently encountered this on an installation I set up for a neighbor. The
10 IQ8 inverters and REC 365's would only put out .9 amps @240vac total
until I installed the Envoy and set the grid profile. Jumped to 9 amps
almost immediately after commissioning with the Toolkit app. Northern
California
We get the same calls and decline to get involved. We just tell people that
consumer-grade products purchased online are geared toward the DIY market,
not professional solar installers. I am not putting my reputation on the
line for these brands.
The other call we get frequently now is about EG4 p
