I recently encountered this on an installation I set up for a neighbor. The 10 IQ8 inverters and REC 365's would only put out .9 amps @240vac total until I installed the Envoy and set the grid profile. Jumped to 9 amps almost immediately after commissioning with the Toolkit app. Northern California

We get the same calls and decline to get involved. We just tell people that consumer-grade products purchased online are geared toward the DIY market, not professional solar installers. I am not putting my reputation on the line for these brands. The other call we get frequently now is about EG4 p

Hi William, I am 100% sure that the IQ7 would work without a Gateway. I am nearly sure that the IQ8's will as well. I'll sometimes turn the solar on before the gateway is fully installed just to test the strings, and the microinverters do seem to wake up. I am not sure what California might have t
