Ray, With this batch of posts about lithium batteriem and several mentions of XW inverters and overcharging, I just have to chime in with my experience with one I installed and one installed by someone else. Both were charging 48V L16 wet cell batteries. In both cases with charge settings doubl

I agree with Roy and Jay. No failures since exclusively using the auto cube relay triggered by any of the Outback relays in the inverter or charge controllers. I'm having good luck keeping a Magnum based system running remotely and on auto using an old MX60 I had hanging around it for its aux 12v

Esteemed Wrenches - Finally successfully troubleshot an intermittent AGS problem that has been nagging one of my remote-grid clients for 1.5 winters now. Of course it's a 4-hour drive from my office. During winter snowstorms (when they need the AGS the most of course) the generator had only about

William, I have had the same frustration with attempting to train customers to monitor voltage, and to treat SOC with suspicion. Some people are capable of getting it, some just aren’t. Off-grid life is tougher for those folks, and for their solar contractors. “I don’t understand why I lost powe
