So, does anyone actually know of any distributor offering bi-facial modules? I
know of some manufacturers who claim to have them, but I’m not finding them in
the U.S. And I don’t want to buy a container, just enough for a residential
system…like 16 or so modules in the ~300W range.

Dear techies:
I have a fellow with an interesting project - a new type of micro-hydro
design to assist with irrigation systems. I'm looking to give his
information to some engineer who can help with the magnets and coil design.
If you have any suggestions who might be able to assist this fellow,
We've experimented around with various devices, and I'll agree that the
Microsoft Surface line is a good choice. You can find 3rd party heavy duty
protective cases on Amazon that are worthwhile if you plan on using it in
the field. Also note that the current Surface Pro 6th gen product only has

Hey Dave,
Sorry for the delay to your question on the ASCO. Yes the 185 is the one I
use either with a service entrance rated CB or without. You can adjust time
so in a power outage the transfer is less than 2 seconds. Have had zero
issues since switching to them over 10 years ago.

2. Portable.
3. Reliable.
4. Decent storage size.
I chose the Microsoft Surface Go. Out of the box it checks all of the

We are transitioning from Dell laptops to Surface Pro's with cell service.
The flexibility of these units in the field seems to be unrivaled.

Esteemed wrenches,
I am looking to buy a PC tablet/laptop for testing in the field. I will
be using a Solmetric PVA, Seaward 210 and Survey, excel spreadsheet,
internet, and email.
I also would like to be able to read and annotate pdfs.
Suggestions? What do you use? What are the advantages
