Kelly:
I really like the tablet I use. My criteria are: 1. Windows based with full computer capabilities. 2. Portable. 3. Reliable. 4. Decent storage size. I chose the Microsoft Surface Go. Out of the box it checks all of the boxes except 4. I overcame the latter by installing a 128G micro SD card. There is a trick to mapping Dropbox to an external card but that was resolved and I have been very happy with the tablet. I did purchase an aftermarket charger to provide charging in the field. That unit is a Battpower Multifunction Travel Charger. You will also need some type of USB C hub for reading SD cards and USB drives. Top that off with an HDMI adapter for presentations and trainings and you have a complete kit. I will be using a Solmetric PVA, Seaward 210 and Survey, excel spreadsheet, internet, and email. I also would like to be able to read and annotate pdfs. Suggestions? What do you use? What are the advantages and shortcomings of your device? Thank you for your response in advance!
