I’ve seen half of a 200A DP main CB fail intermittently, causing some circuits
to go down then come back on at various times. Then on one service call out to
diagnose this strange set of partial blackouts, I heard an internal click while

I want to 2nd David’s recommendation for Fullriver. 6 years and many pallet
loads sold, only one failure covered by warranty. 7 year warranty when used in
RE systems. Best AGM battery we have ever sold.

Hi Mac;
That system sounds like a couple of systems I looked at last year. SW
inverters and the batteries back in a crawl space with (surprise) no
watering. We ended up decommissioning one of those, as the new owner
was no longer interested in solar backup. The crawl space definitely

Hey Mac, Bergey Excel (10kw) and the Jacobs 3120 (20kw) are the only two
decent machines I can recommend. They are both not without their minor
issues, but all around, they work great as long as preventative maintenance
is done.

Hi Wrenches,
I am looking into largish (for me) wind turbines in the 10-20 kW size. As
of now Bergey seems to standout. Any other manufacturers that I should
take a close look at in this size turbine?
Thanks

Strange one. I would be surprised if the PV system has anything to do with
this. We’ve experienced strange electrical intermittent problems and they
have almost always been related to grounding or neutral problems. I realize
that two different electricians have checked out the site, but maybe they

I have had several similar successes with the Full River L-16 style AGM

batteries to a bank.

Dave,
I've replaced a bunch of these - relatively easy (easier than the boards).
If pulling it from the wall is a bigger job than you'd like, the internal
fan can be replaced in the vertical position. Just make sure to not pinch
the internal com cables as you replace the cover.
Good luck!

Mac; I think I'd be looking at high-end rack-mount AGMs, like Deka, HUP,
