Fronius is like Sears tools. The warranty is good but you have to use it all the time. 500% failure rate on Fronius for us. We use only SMA. The TL-22 series has great features. So far it is reliable. SMAs grid tie tech support is good. Less impressed with island support. William Miller > On

Hi All; I'm in the process of finishing a grid tie with battery backup system, and besides the many pitfalls of this type of work, I destroyed a Tripp lite surge suppressor when I turned on the system. The system has a pair of the new Outback VFXR 3524 inverters wired in 120/240 series config.
