Hi:
The "cTUVus" mark is accredited by OSHA (NRTL), and considered equivalent
to UL and CSA by city , county and state regulators throughout the US.
The thing to check is that the applicable "cTUVus" standard was applied.
In this case the test needs to be the cTUVus equivalent of UL1703.
Here

TUV can test to UL1703 standards not just IEC standards. UL still trys to
make a big deal about the UL mark vs all other testing labs, but any NRTL (
Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) can certify to UL standards. The
mark is what counts and it will state specific standards tested t
TUV is now an OSHA NRTL: https://www.osha.gov/dts/otpca/nrtl/nrtllist.html.
Not sure exactly when they started business in the US, but we're definitely
seeing a lot of them.

Hola.
Does anyone know..For the U.S. market, is TUV certification to UL 1703
considered adequate?
I've always thought that modules sold in the U.S. had to have actual testing
and certification by U.L. directly or another nationally recognized test
lab.
Thanks,

Hi folks:
My installer/electrician is trying to find a used Trace SW4024, circa around
2008 date of manufacture. Does anyone have one they wish to sell?
To make a long story short, at this juncture it would be easier for him to
swap it out for our customer rather than upgrade to a different ma
There is a theoretical physical limit for silicon based cells around 34%
efficiency, so 20% for a whole module is quite good.
To get past 34% researchers have gone to multi junction cells and
concentrators, but it isn't practical for our purposes. Even with that they've
