[RE-wrenches] Battery Off Gassing and CO Detectors

2012-02-02 Thread Rich Nicol
Wrenches I understand that battery gassing of Hydrogen Sulfide can set off CO detectors. A new customer who I am about to replace a large battery bank for had his furnace tech on site today to check for proper operation of the furnace since his CO detector was going off, the tech found the high l

Marco: I had one commercial project using the Uni-Solar "PowerBond" ePVL-136 PV Laminate (136W / Roll). They also make a 68W and 144W roll. It can be installed on either membrane or standing seam metal roofs. The product has to be installed by a certified roofer (at least it did 18 months ago)

A lot of my initial meetings with customers go like this: budget, array location, "how do I know if one module stops working", they have read in articles about micros module level data and really want it. That's what I see as the driving factor here. Our winter temps keep them out of the mark

As I look out on the market place here, it must be close to 100 to 1, micro inverter installations vs string on residential systems. Don't know what the primary reason is, but I sense simplicity, as there are less "wrenches" out there, so to speak. The electricians and mechanical type folks I wo
