Rob - Given the current conditions plus the weather predictions, your
decision sounds sensible. We've got another show shower right now,
and the prospects are for rain and a stiff breeze from the south.
Chilly Hilly will live up to its name this year.

Chilly Hilly lived up to its name, today. Saw Rob with the
Rambouillet at the line to catch the ferry back to Seattle, but
otherwise, it seems like the nasty weather kept those with more sense
than me back at home!

Missed the New Year's Day ride, but followed up on the 2nd with 44
chilly miles. Stopped for coffee at Alki Beach in West Seattle, and
met up with another Bleriot and a Hillborne!

The Seattle-to-Portland (STP) extravaganza is scheduled for July 9 &
10 this year. You can ride with up to 10,000 of your closest
friends. It might be nice to have a disorganized Rivendell
contingent on the route.

A fine turnout (6000+) on the Chilly Hilly on Sunday, February 28.
The tour circumnavigates Bainbridge Island in Washington, and several
Rivendells were in attendance, including my Bleriot.
